OURS Consignment Hub is a centralized community facility with different education, recycling and upcycling services to help divert textile waste from landfills. Services such as consigning, renting, redesigning, and donating will be implemented to attract public interest. To enhance textile waste awareness, workshops, collaborative projects, and programs are created to encourage public involvement for a sustainable circular economy in the fashion industry. Giving back to its community, OURS Consignment Hub will partner with local non-profit organizations and charities in an effort to increase textile waste awareness and to increase the livelihood of everyone in the community. Through this project I’ve gained insight and knowledge about the issue of  textile waste around the world and how it effects us immediately and more so in the future. I hope through this project I can be a small platform of something bigger to bring sustainable textile awareness to future generations.
