CityStudio Vancouver is a non-profit organization that connects City of Vancouver staff with post-secondary students and faculty to collaboratively address urban challenges. Partners submit project ideas, which CityStudio matches with a faculty member and student cohort. Students complete the project over an academic term, with outcomes presented at a public HUBBUB event. Their current issue is that they are in search of a CRM software to replace their current processes for contact tracking, donor management, and project management. The Student Team conducted client interviews to identify the clients’ requirements for their preferred CRM system, such as data capturing, sorting and filtering, security and compliance, storage, scalability, and reporting. We then delivered a recommendation for a CRM system, that being Zoho CRM, that meets the client’s needs, budget, data privacy compliance, and applications, as well as a phased implementation plan to get the client fully transitioned in 7 months.

We are interested in volunteering with CityStudio for the initial phase of the CRM system’s adoption.
