Colouring Cambie aims to create temporary chalk-painted pedestrian walkways that are interactive and engaging. This supports the City of Vancouver goals to promote active transportation, activating the public realm and walking through using existing infrastructure. This is important to cities because we need to make walking more pleasurable – walkability is an important indicator towards sustainability.
