CityStudio Vancouver is seeking a highly professional, creative, service-oriented Canadian Network Coordinator with outstanding past experience to join the team!
We’re hiring a team member to design, build and coordinate the next iteration of our Canadian CityStudio Network and the question of ‘how’ will become the centre of your work. You’ll be working with the team and network members to create and coordinate all aspects of the growing nine-city CityStudio network.
Curiosity, generative thinking, co-design, experimentation and delivery are your key characteristics. You are a highly organized, marketing and business leaning, collaborative and self-directed network coordinator who shares our vision of collaborative city-building and spreading the movement of civic action within the post-secondary sector across Canada. This role will require skills for network administration, stakeholder analysis, member management and product development. In past jobs, you have demonstrated professionalism, strategic thinking, excellence in communications, project management, network coordination and relationship building.
POSITION:
Full time, 2-year position, with a standard 3-month probationary period, and a possibility of extension.

HOURS: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
COMPENSATION:
$57,000 – $63,000 per annum based on experience, plus benefits after probationary period.
START DATE:
No later than October 1, 2019

SOME OF YOUR TRAITS ARE:
● A highly professional, service-oriented and experienced Network Coordinator

● The ability to refine strategy and deliver on outcomes with a commitment to the process
● Minimum 2 years in a similar position
● Demonstrated experience with network tools and practices
● High comfort in initiating, building and maintaining effective relationships
● Excellence in writing, editing, synthesizing and summarizing
● Authentic professional curiosity for city building, higher education, and collaboration
● Masters degree in a related discipline, or equivalent
● Committed to continuous improvement and refinement
● Comfortable working in a creative, experimental environment
● Experience with communications and event management
