Tamara is the Network Development Lead of CityStudio Global, where she is responsible for growing the number of CityStudios across Canada and globally. She brings 15+ years of relationship-building experience within higher education and stakeholder engagement processes, working primarily in the fields of sustainability and social innovation.
Tamara has worked in many corners of the world, including in Canada, Sweden, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, France, China, and on the Peace Boat’s 74th global voyage. She feels extremely privileged to have been able to engage with and learn from so many wise and inspiring changemakers.
Tamara identifies as a queer white settler residing on stolen Coast Salish territory, and holds the esteemed roles of daughter, sister, partner, friend, and auntie. She grew up in various places around British Columbia, and now calls Vancouver home. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning from UNBC, and a Master’s in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from BTH in Sweden. Tamara is a certified Associate Coach with Integral Coaching Canada, and a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods facilitator.
In her spare time she enjoys teaching, traveling, exploring tasty new recipes, and connecting people and projects within her networks.
