Abdul Zahir

Abdul Zahir earned his MBA and MA in English from Simon Fraser University. He has ten years of experience working in the financial and academic sectors, and currently works as a Research Project Manager at Simon Fraser University, where he supports the institution’s relationship with the City of Burnaby. Abdul brings broad experience in strategic planning, project management, partnership development, and sound governance – all of which are grounded in his personal philosophy and commitment to collaboration and putting people first. Abdul lives in co-operative housing in Vancouver with his wife, Audrey, and their two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys practising his French and strength-training at his local community centre gym.
